The Whites HYBRID Front Entry Drysuit in Red and Black is a made-to-order professional diving drysuit designed for public-safety, recovery and moderately contaminated-water operations. It combines the lightweight mobility of Whites’ ENVIRO material with the rugged lower-body protection of the HAZMAT platform.

The upper section uses lightweight, PFAS-free bi-laminate polyurethane nylon for flexibility and upper-body mobility. From the waist down, abrasion-resistant HAZMAT multi-laminate material provides added protection in areas that commonly receive the most wear.

A true self-donning front-entry design uses a YKK AQUASEAL polyurethane dry zipper. The chemical-resistant polyurethane exterior, tear- and puncture-resistant nylon interior and tape-welded exterior seams support demanding professional diving operations while helping simplify cleaning and decontamination.

The knees and shins are heavily reinforced with polyurethane for added abrasion resistance. Attached 7 mm neoprene-lined Comfort Boots provide durable integrated footwear for public-safety and professional diving applications.

The SI TECH modular sealing system includes a permanently attached Quick Neck ring with a replaceable Polytex hood-and-neck-seal combination. Quick Cuff wrist rings use replaceable Polytex Pro wrist seals, allowing worn or damaged seals to be changed without permanently gluing replacements directly to the suit.

A SI TECH exhaust valve and standard swivel inflation valve with a SEATEC fitting are included. The suit also comes with a hood liner, internal suspenders, SEATEC inflator hose, HAZMAT patch kit and drysuit storage bag.

Available options include HAZMAT Dry Socks instead of Comfort Boots, silicone seals, a convenience zipper, a CEJN valve-and-hose system and an all-black color configuration.

The HYBRID Front Entry Drysuit is certified to EN 14225-2:2017 Diving Suits—Dry Suits and is designed and fabricated in Canada. Confirm the required standard size and selected options before the made-to-order suit enters production.

The HYBRID puts the thicker, more durable HAZMAT material on the bottom half of the suit – the half that takes the most wear – and a thinner material up top that still holds up very well. It covers what most teams actually need, and it is the suit I chose for my own public safety diving.
