The Whites HYBRID Back Entry Drysuit in Red and Black is a made-to-order professional diving drysuit designed for moderately contaminated-water operations. It combines the mobility of the Whites ENVIRO platform with the durability and lower-body protection of the HAZMAT drysuit.

The upper portion uses lightweight, PFAS-free bi-laminate polyurethane nylon for improved flexibility and upper-body mobility. Exterior tape-welded seams and a tear- and puncture-resistant nylon interior support dependable use during public-safety, recovery and professional diving operations.

From the waist down, the suit uses the more abrasion-resistant HAZMAT multi-laminate material. Interior and exterior tape-welded seams provide added protection in the areas that typically receive the most abuse, while the knees and shins are heavily reinforced with polyurethane.

A YKK AQUASEAL polyurethane back-entry dry zipper provides the primary waterproof closure. Attached 7 mm neoprene-lined Comfort Boots provide integrated footwear for professional diving operations.

The SI TECH modular sealing system includes a permanently attached Quick Neck ring with a replaceable Polytex hood-and-neck-seal combination. Permanently attached Quick Cuff wrist rings use replaceable Polytex Pro wrist seals, allowing damaged seals to be changed without permanently gluing replacements directly to the suit.

A SI TECH exhaust valve and swivel inflation valve with a SEATEC fitting are included. The suit also comes with a hood liner, internal suspenders, SEATEC inflator hose, HAZMAT patch kit and drysuit storage bag.

The smooth polyurethane exterior and welded-seam construction help make the drysuit easier to clean and decontaminate after professional diving operations. The HYBRID Back Entry Drysuit is certified to EN 14225-2:2017 Diving Suits—Dry Suits and is designed and fabricated in Canada.

Available options include a brass dry zipper, HAZMAT dry socks instead of Comfort Boots, silicone seals, a convenience zipper, a CEJN valve-and-hose system and an all-black color configuration. Confirm the required standard size and selected options before production.

Why teams pick the HYBRID

The HYBRID puts the thicker, more durable HAZMAT material on the bottom half of the suit – the half that takes the most wear – and a thinner material up top that still holds up very well. It covers what most teams actually need, and it is the suit I chose for my own public safety diving.

This is the back entry version. A back entry suit is zipped by a tender, so if your divers need to dress themselves without help, look at the front entry HYBRID instead.
