Hello Students!

I hope you are ready to complete the open water dive portion of your Scuba certification training for the weekend you are signing up for. Students must be available for Saturday and Sunday. If there is a scheduling conflict contact us at the shop. This sign up is for Open Water training weekend only. Payment for this sign up if the entry fee to dive location only. Payment is needed to reserve spot for training weekend.

You will need to meet the instructor at 9 a.m., Saturday  @ Blue Stone Dive Resort.

 You can temporarily pull up to the front door, grab a cart from inside to load gear on, then park in main parking area. The instructors will meet you in the lobby.

Please stop by Sink or Swim Scuba Wednesday , Thursday or Friday prior, to pick up any rental gear needed. If you have not filled out your training folder and waivers, we can get you taken care of when you come in. Also, if you do not have your mask, fin, snorkel, and booties, we have those for you to purchase and will be available to help you find the right fit and style for your needs. You will also need to come by to fill out your Blues Stone Dive Resort waiver and to pay for your entry fee which is $28.00 a day..

You must have all eLearning completed, with exam and online waiver done from SDI by Friday prior of the training date you are signing up for.

If you were directed to get a medical signoff when you filled out the online medical questionnaire, we need to have that in hand before you get in the water.

You are instore for a day full of excitement and adventure. Please make sure you are prepared by bringing:

  • Mask (Scrubbed), Fins, snorkel, and boots.
  • Logbook & SDI app downloaded to phone as we will use this for logging dives.
  • Rental or your own BCD, regulators, wetsuit, and tanks
  • Snacks, a packed lunch, and plenty of water.
  • Dry clothes to change into after including towel.
  • Sunscreen or hat to protect from sun.
  • Swimsuit

When you arrive, the fun starts immediately with your swim test and your confined skills. Once you have mastered those skills you will get to do your first open water dive with the instructor.  Saturday will last until around 2pm or 5pm. Sunday will begin again at 9am where you will finish your open water dives and practicing your skills. Sunday can end as early as 12 pm or last up to 4 pm.
