The SDI Snorkeler Course is designed to give new snorkelers the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to safely enjoy snorkeling. Students will learn proper use and adjustment of masks, snorkels, and fins; breathing and clearing techniques; efficient finning; water-entry and surface skills; water comfort; buddy procedures; and basic snorkeling safety.

Training begins at Sink or Swim Scuba with equipment orientation and preparation before continuing at the pool for hands-on instruction and practice.
