Shearwater Swift GPS Air Integration Transmitter

The Shearwater Swift GPS Air Integration Transmitter combines wireless cylinder-pressure monitoring with automatic dive-site location capture, giving divers both real-time gas information underwater and entry and exit coordinates for their dive logs.

Connected to a compatible Shearwater air-integrated dive computer, the Swift GPS transmits cylinder pressure directly to the computer display for convenient gas monitoring throughout the dive. It also incorporates a GNSS receiver that captures the diver’s location at the surface before descent and again after surfacing.

When the dive is transferred to the Dive Shearwater app, the recorded GPS information can be used to display the dive location on a map along with entry and exit coordinates.

GPS Dive Location Tracking

Unlike the standard Shearwater Swift transmitter, the Swift GPS adds automatic surface location tracking.

The Swift GPS uses GPS, Galileo, and BeiDou satellite systems to determine location. GPS/GNSS positioning operates at the surface and does not function underwater.

During the dive, the Swift GPS functions as a Shearwater air-integration transmitter, providing real-time cylinder-pressure information to the diver’s compatible computer.

This allows the diver to conveniently monitor gas pressure alongside depth, dive time, decompression information, and other dive data directly on the computer display.

The Swift platform incorporates an advanced collision-avoidance system and randomized transmission intervals, helping improve reliability when multiple transmitters are being used in the same diving environment.
