The OTS EMO-HU-1PTT-2EP4-ME150 Earphone and Microphone Assembly is designed for use with compatible OTS full face masks, including the Guardian. It combines a ME-150 hot microphone, dual EP-4 earphones, a push-to-talk (PTT) control, and a Hi-Use connector in one communications assembly.

The ME-150 microphone is designed to provide clear voice pickup while helping reduce background noise. Dual earphones let the diver hear communications through both ears, and the PTT control allows the user to transmit by pressing the switch. This configuration is intended for divers using compatible hard-wire or through-water communications equipment.

The assembly is built for demanding dive environments. Its cables are Kevlar-reinforced with strengthened strain reliefs, and the EP-4 earphone elements are potted for added protection against impact and harsh conditions. The PTT housing has been strengthened and redesigned for added durability, while the earphone cables are slightly longer to help reduce pulling when donning or removing the mask. Snap-on earphone holders attach to the head harness.
