DEMA 2025: New Partnerships, Gear Research, and Training to Better Serve Our Dive Community

We’re officially halfway through the DEMA Show in Orlando, and it has already been an exciting and productive week for Sink or Swim Scuba. Every year we attend DEMA to stay at the cutting edge of scuba training, equipment, and public safety diving, and this year is shaping up to be one of the best yet.

New Dealer Status: Whites Drysuits for Recreation and Public Safety

One of the biggest highlights has been reconnecting with our White’s drysuit representative. We’re proud to announce that Sink or Swim Scuba is now both a recreational and public safety dealer for Whites drysuits. This partnership complements our existing lineup of premium drysuits from DUI, BARE, and Hollis, giving our divers and public safety teams even more high-quality options.

Whether you're a recreational diver exploring local lakes or a public safety team conducting challenging missions, having the right drysuit matters — and we’re committed to offering the best.

Exploring the Latest in Public Safety Diving Gear

We’ve also been reviewing some of the newest public safety diving (PSD) gear on the show floor. Pricing and availability are still being finalized, but the innovation we’re seeing is impressive. Our goal is always to bring back the safest, most reliable, and most cost-effective gear to the agencies we support across North and South Carolina.

Ongoing Training and Industry Education

Continuing education is another major part of DEMA. Today, one of the seminars on our list is “Going Gonzo: How Unconventional Marketing Can Grow Your Business.” Staying up-to-date on industry trends — including communication, customer engagement, and technology — allows us to serve our divers better and continue building a strong, connected dive community.

Bringing It All Home

DEMA is always a chance to recharge, grow, and bring new ideas home to our shop in Gastonia. We’re excited about the new opportunities coming from this week and can’t wait to share more updates soon.

If you’d like to learn more about any of the products or training we offer — from drysuits to public safety gear to recreational scuba classes — feel free to reach out or stop by the shop. We’re here to help you dive with confidence.
